Good day, friends! Let's discuss five simple habits to beat procrastination. However, I cannot promise that they will be easy (let's be honest, almost nothing is easy - even going to the bathroom in the morning takes energy) ๐ช๐ผ๐ฉ
First, let's talk about breaking tasks into smaller pieces. It's like drinking vodka from small glasses instead of straight from the bottle ๐ธ. I'm not encouraging drinking.
Secondly, it's important to set specific goals ๐ฃ๏ธ๐ฃ๐. You can't walk a road you can't see, so it's important to set a direction for yourself (or draw a white line on that road we talked about earlier) .
Thirdly, eliminate distractions ๐ต๐ซ๐ฑ. It's really simple. Just put your phone, with that amazing cat video, in another room ๐ฑ. Mine is next to me at the moment, but I am disciplined enough to block all my apps on it.
Fourthly, prioritize! ๐๐๏ธโ It's simple yet incredibly useful. I write down all the tasks I need to complete throughout the day and then prioritize them. This way, I usually get everything done by the end of the day.
Lastly, use positive self-talk ๐๐ผ๐ฌ๐ช๐ผ. I don't know about you, but I am obviously the best when it comes to productivity. So, I can't say whether positive self-talk will help you... (I hope I made my point:)
