Time to get rid of the things you don’t need.

One of the biggest reasons we hold on to clutter is because of inertia. Once we bring something into our home, we forget about it, we think we might use it someday, or we plan on making the decision to keep or discard later. Soon, your home is so full of clutter that it feels overwhelming to tackle it all.

It doesn't have to be overwhelming, especially if you break the process down and declutter one space at a time.

Now grab a pen and paper and write down the things that apply to you.

Trust me it's the only way to really be honest with yourself. Having this on paper is definitely something that will keep you accountable.

See what you can clear out by identifying :

* 6 Things to Get Rid of in the Kitchen * 10 Things to Get Rid of in Your Home Office * 8 Things to Get Rid of in Your Closet * 7 Things to Throw Away ASAP

So how do you get rid of the things you don't need? Ask yourself these questions when facing an item.

1) HAS IT PASSED ITS EXPIRATION DATE? 2) DO YOU NEED IT? 3) IS IT SOMETHING YOU REALLY LOVE? 4) DO YOU HAVE DUPLICATES? 5) DO YOU USE IT REGULARLY? 6) WAS IT A GIFT YOU NEVER WANTED? 7) DOES THIS ITEM GET USED AS MUCH AS IT SHOULD? Hope this helps you clear out a few things. Best of luck. You can do this !
